Do's and Dont's of High Pressure Washers

High pressure washers can expel high pressure water or steam that can blast away dirt and impurities from hard surfaces. The output pressure levels of these machines from Daimer® vary from 750 psi up to 8000 psi, varying by the model. The following is an overview of some of the common uses of high pressure washers and some of the tasks which these machines are not suitable for.

Common Uses
High pressure washers are excellent machines for hard surface cleaning and heavy duty industrial degreasing. These machines are widely used for cleaning public places such as parks, parking lots, and stadiums. The equipment may also be used for graffiti removal from public places and commercial buildings. The high output pressure level is quite helpful for removing dirt and various deposits from industrial equipment and factory floors. In short, these machines may be utilized for cleaning most any hard and sturdy surface that is able to withstand a high pressure output from the machine.

Dont's
High pressure washers are not suitable for auto detailing. For this reason, Daimer® offers specialized machines specifically suited for auto detailing. These machines features pressure levels of 1500 psi and lower to enable safe and effective cleaning of vehicles. Pressure washers should also not be used for cleaning the interiors of vehicles, or cleaning in areas without proper drainage.
