High Pressure Washers for Excellent Fleet Maintenance

Mobile Hot Water Pressure Washer

If you know the effort and time required to get a car clean, you can easily imagine the hard work that goes into cleaning larger vehicles like buses or trucks. This is why fleet maintenance facilities generally have a tough time keeping the entire fleet spotlessly clean and gleaming. Unlike cars, trucks collect more dust and dirt, especially on long trips. To effectively clean away all that grime, detailing professionals must be equipped with high pressure washers.

It is important to choose high pressure washers from reputable suppliers and to know the rules of auto detailing. Generally, pressure levels above 1500 psi are not recommended for cleaning vehicles, as the higher pressure levels can cause dents, scratching, and paint chipping on vehicles. In addition, many professionals prefer to use machines with low flow rates to avoid water runoff and drainage fines.

To put an end to all these drawbacks, Daimer® launched certain high pressure washers in the Super Max™ series that are specifically intended to manage vehicle detailing applications. One example of a low flow power cleaner is the Super Max™ 6120SCW. With pressure levels of 1000 psi, low flow rates of 0.5 GPM, and steam temperatures of up to 300°F, these high pressure washers feature the perfect combination of capabilities needed for reliable fleet maintenance.

High pressure washers such as the Super Max™ 6120SCW are also unbelievably versatile. Its ability to detail different vehicle surfaces offers ample proof of this versatility.

How to Get Best Out of Stationary High Pressure Washers

Natural Gas Fired Pressure Washers

The most basic classification of high pressure washers is based on their mobility: that is, as mobile pressure cleaning systems and as stationary cleaning units. Most people mistakenly think that stationary machines have limited use only. However, with the right technology and features, these machines can be easily used for a number of different cleaning applications.

Experienced professionals know how to get the best out of stationary high pressure washers. The following are some tips practiced by seasoned cleaning professionals.

Use of Long Hoses
One practical substitute for mobility is Daimer®’s Long Hose Technology. With this feature, high pressure washers, such as the stationary Super Max™ 15500, can reach up to 300 feet away without losing pressure or having to move the machine. This is helpful for cleaning confined to one large area.

AST® Technology
Daimer®’s AST® technology allows users to switch the pressure washer on and off using the scatter gun. If there is no output through the machine for 30 seconds, the machine will be switched off automatically. The cleaning workers can switch on the machine by pulling the trigger of the scatter gun.
